Ensuring proper attire and protective equipment is imperative when operating the Widescape WS250. Given the stand-up riding position, the body is continuously engaged in maintaining balance, resulting in a physical riding experience. Therefore, it is crucial to consider the following guidelines concerning clothing and safety gear for the best riding experience.

Clothing
Layering is the name of the game. It is essential to have a selection of clothing layers that can be removed in case of overheating or added back in when feeling cold. For your convenience, we offer the following clothing layering recommendations.

Start with a base layer with a breathable fabric, like merino wool.
On really cold days you can add an extra layer of clothing like a fleece sweater.
A waterproof winter suit that covers your upper and lower body. We recommend a one-piece winter suit to make sure snow doesn’t get in.
A good pair of waterproof gloves.
A good pair of merino wool socks.
A neck gaiter and/or balaclava.

Safety gear
Safety is of utmost importance to us and we want to be sure you wear the proper safety gear whenever you ride the WS250.

DOT approved full face helmet
Snowmobile or ski goggles
Knee pads
High-rise snow boots with a fleece lining, gaiters and rubber soles to make sure they grip well to the riding platform.
